The Gram Sanskruti Udyan Village Park, a hidden gem located in Pashan, gives you a feel of life in rural Maharashtra.
The Gram Sanskruti Udyan Village Park was conceptualised by the Pune Municipal Corporation in Pashan as a one-of-a-kind mock village to offer visitors a first-hand experience of what life is like in Maharashtrian villages. Situated close to Someshwar Temple, the park displays more than 700 sculptures, water wells, animals and farms, thus introducing people to the rustic charms of village life and concepts of farming and other rural occupations – like barbers, cobblers, bamboo weavers, blacksmiths and potters -the barter system and Gram Panchayat.
